About Giovanna
Giovanna Bader is a Brazilian, naturalized German, social project manager with a specialization in integration and president of Casa do Brasil e.V. Germany. With a passion for immigrant rights, community development, and social inclusion, she has been actively supporting migrant communities in Germany since 2016, with a special focus on immigrant women at risk.
Over the years, Giovanna has successfully led and managed more than 150 cultural and social projects, tackling crucial issues such as:
✔ Combating and preventing domestic violence
✔ Supporting immigrants in entering the German labour market
✔ Facilitating social and cultural integration through community involvement
Her projects have been developed in collaboration with the city of Munich and various international organizations dedicated to the protection and empowerment of immigrants.
In 2021, Giovanna represented more than 70 organizations at the European Parliament through the European External Action Service (EEAS) during the EU-Brazil Civil Society Dialogue on Human Rights, advocating on key global issues affecting migrant communities.
Her contributions also include the development of an official leaflet on combating domestic violence, family law, and migration law—centered on visa regulations—through her project for Casa do Brasil e.V., together with lawyers Joana Cavedon Ripoll (Family Law) and Mariana da Fonseca (Migration Law). This initiative was carried out in partnership with and funded by:
- Brazilian Federal Government
- Sozialreferat München (SHZ)

Support for the Migration Process
With extensive experience in visa processes, nationality applications, bureaucratic procedures, and the development of business and social projects, Giovanna Bader is a key advocate for immigrant integration and a trusted advisor for individuals and organizations navigating the complexities of migration in Germany.
"Like all Brazilians, we try to adapt to the system and improve it where possible, and that's what I did. I adapted to the German system, integrated into the community, and continue to seek improvements so that the immigrants who live here or seek to live here can live in a peaceful and comfortable environment in Germany, respecting the culture and tradition of this amazing country that is fighting so hard to become welcoming, even when extremist minorities don't understand the importance of skilled immigrant labour to boost the economy. My focus is not just to bring people to work by offering new opportunities, but to integrate them so that our community here can have the opportunity to exchange cultures, get to know new cultures, and expand knowledge.”
